Description

126 Main Street is a building that has been converted from a house to a shop. It features a painted roughcast exterior and a slate roof. The structure is two storeys high with three bays and has undergone significant alterations in the 20th century. The first floor has plate glass sash windows, with one window in the center and a pair on each side. The ground floor has two matching 20th-century shopfronts on the left and center right, with a door located to the left of the shop window. There is also a 20th-century house door on the right side. The right end of the building has an added lean-to that projects outward.

Inside, there are two shops. In the western room at the back, there are two medieval stone arches with segmental pointed shapes; one of these arches is blocked, while the other leads to a passage that connects to a small stone vaulted room that runs parallel to the street. In the eastern room at the back, there are two medieval corbels on the wall to the right and a segmental pointed doorway to the left.
