Description
Rumsey and Rumsey is a house that has been converted into a shop. It originated in the 17th century and was encased in the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and late 20th century. The building features a rendered brick exterior that encases a timber frame and has a plain tile roof. It is two stories tall and consists of three main bays along with a narrow passage bay, now presenting a four-window range.
On the ground floor, there is a small shop front on the left-hand side with a plate glass window and a pair of half-glazed doors beneath a fascia supported by brackets. To the right, there are two 20th-century windows. On the first floor, there is a 12-pane sash window located to the left of the center in the narrow bay, while the other bays feature 16-pane sash windows.
