Description

Lake House is an early 19th-century house located on the north/east side of Christchurch Road in Ringwood. It is a two-storey, three-bay building constructed of brick, with a painted front and a slate roof. The front facade features a central six-panel door, topped by a semi-circular radiating fanlight set within a rubbed arch. There are sash windows on each side of the door, with three windows above, all set under rubbed arches. The eaves overhang, and there is a half-hipped roof with external end stacks. Walls extend to each side and are one storey high, featuring stone coping and depressed arched openings. One opening has a planked door to the left-hand side; the other is blocked on the right-hand side. Flanking arches are present in the walls at each end.
