Description
Walter Brearley House is a three-storey house featuring unpainted roughcast cladding on the first floor and white painted stucco on the ground floor, topped with a slate roof and rendered end stacks. The building has a long three-window range. The top floor includes three small four-pane sash windows, while the first floor has three plate glass windows, all set within stucco surrounds. The ground floor features two wide 20th-century tripartite sash windows and a central doorway with 20th-century double doors. There is a narrow band at the first-floor sill level and a line in the stucco at the mid-height of the ground floor windows. The previous listing only recorded two storeys and noted external stairs against the northwest gable end.
