Description
Glan-rhyd-uchaf is a house dating from the 19th century, featuring a whitewashed roughcast exterior and a slate hipped roof with a central cross-axial brick stack. The building is two storeys tall and has a two-window front, with sash windows that have 6 panes above and 9 panes below. Slate sills extend sideways across raised strips that go from the ground floor sill level to the eaves, flanking each window. There is a 20th-century door located in an added or rebuilt lean-to on the left end, while the right end has a whitewashed rubble lean-to. The rear of the house has an unpainted two-window range with similar strips, but the left strip has no windows, and there is a pair of casement windows above a 20th-century window on the right. Additionally, there is a 20th-century single-storey addition at a right angle to the right corner. The property is not available for inspection.
