Description
30 Hamilton Terrace is a building dating from around 1800 that has been altered over time. It features a stucco exterior with a slate roof and a brick stack at the west end. The structure is three storeys high and has a three-window range, although most of the original sash windows have been replaced with 20th-century versions. The window surrounds are moulded stucco, plain on the upper floor, and adorned with cornices on console brackets on the lower floors. Quoin pilasters add to the architectural detail, and the stucco features appear to have been added later in the 19th century. The outer windows on the ground and first floors were originally tripartite sashes, with the ground floor windows still surviving while those above have been replaced. The doorway is framed by fluted stucco pilasters and has a cornice above.
