Description

The Carmarthen Arms Inn is a building dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of painted stucco with a steep-pitched slate roof, featuring a large rubble-stone chimney breast and square stack at the left end, and a red brick stack at the right end. The two-storey, three-window facade features 4-pane sash windows, the lower ones being longer, and a central door set slightly lower than the adjacent windows. Slate sills are present. A dwarf front wall and railings were mostly removed in 2005. The interior has not been inspected, but it is said that the original fireplace has been blocked.
