Description

This is an earlier 19th-century outbuilding located to the east of High Roost. It’s a long, single-storey range constructed of low rubble stone with a grouted slate roof, half-hipped to the east end and featuring a ridge stack. The eastern end presents as a coach house, with a brick cambered head above the entry. The western end may have originally been a stable or another building connected to the main house and has a door on the north side to the left, a window, a vent-loop, a window, and another vent-loop. Inside, the roof consists of collar truss construction in five bays at each end. A stone dividing wall is present within the building.
