Description
The small outbuildings to the southwest of Carnachenwen Farmhouse are constructed of whitewashed rubble stone and feature a corrugated iron roof. They are single-storey with curved angles and double doors at the eastern end. The structure includes dove-holes and a small window above the door. On the northern side, which faces the farmhouse, there are two blocked doors, one of which has a small window inserted. There is no evidence to suggest that these buildings were used as a kiln.
Adjacent to the west is an open-fronted low building known as Stond Agolch, which was used for storing and mixing culm. This building has a single-pitched corrugated iron roof and consists of two compartments, including a square stone 'bin' and whitewashed rubble walls.
