Description
This outbuilding, known as 'storws', dates from 1784 and is located to the northwest of the house at Carnachenwen. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a corrugated iron roof, with a window on the left side. The building is two-storey and has external steps leading to a loft door on the south side. The south wall shows remnants of slate hanging. A datestone is positioned on the northeast corner. On the north side, there is a door to the ground floor on the right and a 12-pane sash window at mid-height, slightly to the right of the center. Under the eaves, there is a central loading door flanked by small square windows on each side. Inside, the east wall has blocked recesses. The building was noted to be in poor condition in 1992.
