Description
This is an 18th-century cartshed located at the entrance to the south of Carnachenwen. It is constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and features a slate roof, built into a slope to create two storeys. The north side has a cambered-headed cart entry on the right, which is framed by rough stone voussoirs, and a window to the left that has a single slate slab lintel. Above the cart entry, there is a vent loop leading to the upper floor. Access to the upper floor is provided by a raised earth ramp at the eastern end. There is also a square window in the west end wall. The roof timbers date from the 19th century.
