Description
This is a later 19th century farm building located in the centre of Pentre Farmyard. It is constructed from rubble stone and has a square plan topped with a pyramid slate roof. The building features cut Cilgerran stone quoins. On the east side, there is a broad opening with a timber lintel, while the south side has a ledged door with a triangular head and cut-stone voussoirs. The north side is similar, and the west side has a small-paned iron window with a triangular head. Inside, the roof is blackened, and there is a small fireplace in the northwest corner. Additionally, cast-iron weighbridge scales are located in the east doorway.
