Description
8 Victoria Place is a terraced house that has been converted into commercial premises. The building features painted stucco and a slate roof, with paired brackets supporting the overhanging eaves. It stands three storeys tall and has two bays, with a sill band at the second floor and a moulded cornice at the first floor level. The windows are hornless sashes, with nine panes on the top floor and twelve panes on the first floor.
The ground floor has been modernised and includes a shop front designed to match that of No 6. It features a broad band of green stone above a wide door located to the left of the shop window, with a recessed door to the right. Despite the modern alterations, the original curving staircase remains intact, showcasing scrolled tread ends and square balusters.
