Description
Mote Lodge is a single-storey lodge built with painted stucco and features a slate deep-eaved hipped roof. There is a renewed rendered stack on the ridge, located to the right of the center. The building is double fronted, with a plinth and a projected center that has a simple timber pediment. Each side of the center has a twelve-pane horned sash window. The center has a recessed broad opening with a flat head and a raised band above, which steps out over the side piers beneath the pediment. Inside this opening is a fixed small-paned window in the center and a six-panel door located in the right side wall, accessed by two slate steps. The right end wall features a similar twelve-pane sash window. There is also a 20th-century rear southwest wing that has a ridge stack and two twelve-pane horned sash windows. The end wall of this wing has a small twelve-pane sash flanked by narrow four-pane sashes. The property has not been inspected.
