Description

The stable block opposite Mote House is a single-storey structure built from rubble stone and topped with an asbestos slate roof. It features a seven-bay front with arched openings that have stone voussoirs. There are two outer doors and four small-paned sash windows, each adorned with radiating tracery at the heads. In the center, there is a lower curved-backed broad arched niche that was formerly rendered. The boarded doors have arch heads above that have been infilled. The right gable end appears to have been truncated, showing rough ends to the outer walls.
