Description
Mote House is a former stable built from rubble stone, featuring an asbestos slate roof that has a close eave. The building has small rendered stacks located on the ridge and at the right end. It presents a single-storey, five-bay formal facade, which includes four arched windows with stone voussoirs and small-paned sashes that have radiating tracery in their heads. In the center, there is a broad curved-backed arched niche that is rendered within. On the left end wall, there is a six-panel door with an overlight to the right. An attached range is set back and has a short front roof pitch, with two 12-pane sashes and a door that also has an overlight. There is a small rendered stack on the front roof pitch. The building is not available for inspection.
