Description
Blaenwern is a two-storey building constructed of rubble stone, which was previously stuccoed, and features slate roofs with flat eaves and rendered whitewashed stacks. The north front has three windows and a hipped northeast angle, with a west end stack. The large hornless 12-pane sash windows have slate sills and brick heads. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with a leaded-light overlight and a brick head. On the east side, which faces the lane, there are ridge and south end stacks, and a three-window range of similar sashes with brick heads. The left two-window range is closer together, and one window was originally a door. There is also an altered whitewashed single-storey addition at the south end.
