Description
29 Wallis Street is a house constructed of painted stone rubble, featuring an imitation slate roof and end stacks. The left side is made of painted brick, while the right side is rendered. This two-storey, double-fronted house has irregular spacing and a downslope in the lower window and door heads, which suggests that it may have originally been a single-storey house that was raised.
On the upper floor, there are two small 4-pane casement windows. The ground floor includes a narrow 4-pane sash window on the left, a central doorway with a ledged stable door, and a slightly broader 4-pane sash window on the right. The sashes are aligned with the casements above, and the door is positioned slightly closer to the left window. All windows feature rough slate sills. The left gable end is windowless and has some brickwork in the corner. Previous listings mention that the roof has been cement grouted.
