Description
The Prince of Wales Flats is a former hotel that has been converted into flats with a shop below. The building features a painted stucco exterior and stands four storeys tall, originally three storeys, with two bays. The original parapet has been altered to accommodate two 6-pane 20th-century sash windows, and a new parapet has been added above. On the second floor, there are twelve-pane hornless sash windows, and on the first floor, to the left, there is a canted bay window with 4-12-4-pane glazing, where the side lights can open. The ground floor has a late 20th-century shop front that includes double doors to the left with an overlight, a narrower shop door also with an overlight, and a 4-pane shop window with top lights. The shop front has a plain casing with a cornice.
