Description

The churchyard wall is a rubble stone retaining wall topped with flat coping stones and rounded end-on stones. It features a gateway with a 20th-century iron gate and two upright stones on either side; the stone on the left is large, while the one on the right is considerably smaller. The wall curves to the right and includes a larger standing stone, followed by a smaller one, before continuing along the east side of the churchyard. This section is interrupted by a stone of exceptional height, the largest known in the county, measuring approximately 3.5 meters. The wall ultimately ends about 30 meters further at a gate pier.
