This is a milestone located on the A44 in Ponterwyd. It is made of whitewashed stone and features a curved top. The inscription reads 'Aberystwyth 12 miles', with the town name in capital letters following the curve and the word 'Miles' in lower case beneath the numeral. The lettering is similar to that found on the 11-mile stone.
