Description

Yr Hen Bont is a road bridge that spans the River Rheidol. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a broad single arch with a span of 15.5 meters, which has a distinctly humped profile. The arch is made up of stone voussoirs and has a thin crown. On either side of the narrow roadway, which is 2.4 meters wide, there are rubble parapets topped with end-on stone copings.
