Description
The churchyard wall is a rubble stone retaining structure that encloses three sides of the churchyard, featuring curved corners at the southeast and northeast. The southern entrance is marked by later 19th-century monolith Gothic gate piers made of sandstone, which include a plinth, a trefoil panel, and a gabled top adorned with trefoil moulded cresting. This entrance is complemented by large, ornate cast-iron Gothic gates that feature a traceried design and cresting. Above the gates, there is a wrought iron scrolled overthrow with an octagonal lamp holder. The northern entrance consists of plain 19th-century monolith gate piers and a pair of smaller cast-iron Gothic gates that are similar in style.
