Description

The water pump located at the corner of Church Bank is a Grade II listed structure dating from 1876. It has a wooden rectangular box design with iron panels bolted to the front. The central panel features a segmental-arched raised border surrounding a large spout, which is topped with an earl's coronet. The date 1876 is displayed in the lower corners of the panel. A long iron pump handle is attached to the right side of the pump.
