Description
The structure is a high rubble stone causeway featuring a single-arched bridge, located to the northeast of Aberffrwd. The bridge has rubble stone parapets and large square rubble stone gate-piers at the southern end. Its arch is recessed, reaching about halfway up the roadway, with the arches blending into straight sides. The voussoirs are made of cut stone, and the masonry on each side curves slightly outward towards the flanking piers. The causeway extends approximately 22 meters to the north and 10 meters to the south, with battered walling. The parapets have slate coping, which ramps up at the southern end to meet the entrance piers, while the northern end has a rounded finish. One of the southern piers encases a monolith stone gatepost.
