Description

This is a stone milestone located near Brynheulwen, dating from the 19th century. It features an arched head and is made from squared stone that has been colourwashed. The figures on the milestone are incised and painted black. The lettering follows the curve of the arch and reads 'Aberystwyth'. In the center, there is a large numeral '5' with the word 'Miles' incised beneath it in lower case.
