Description
This is a later 19th-century house and warehouse located next to Carreg Llys on Wesley Hill. The house features unpainted roughcast walls, while the warehouse is finished with stucco. Both buildings have slate roofs and yellow brick chimney stacks with blue brick angles.
The house has a two-storey front with three windows, each fitted with 12-pane sash windows and slate sills. The central entrance boasts a four-panel door with an overlight, set within an elegant pilastered doorcase topped with a cornice supported by brackets. A narrow forecourt is enclosed by wire rails that feature an attractive intersected ogee pattern above the top rail.
The adjoining warehouse, located to the left, has a continuous roof and a three-storey, two-bay front. To the right, there is a shop entry and window, while loading doors are located in recesses on each floor above, each featuring a triangular head and a pulley wheel positioned under the eaves of the gable. To the left, there is a three-pane shop window framed in timber, with brackets supporting the fascia and cornice above. Each floor of the warehouse has a nine-pane sash window with slate sills.
