Description
Delfryn Cottage is a double-fronted building with a whitewashed rubble stone front and a cob rear and end wall. It features a corrugated iron roof over thatch, with a brick stack on the left end. The front is offset to the right and has a part-glazed door flanked by 4-pane casements, all with timber lintels, which are likely later 19th-century replacements. The rear of the cottage is entirely cob above a rubble plinth and includes two small windows.
Inside, the cottage has a much smoke-blackened double-purlin roof with thin collar trusses and thin vertically-laid branches supporting the gorse underthatch.
