Description
Ffos-y-ffin Chapel is a building constructed with unpainted roughcast and topped with a slate roof. The lateral facade features two large central windows, plain outer doors, and 12-pane upper gallery lights, all with plain cement heads. The central windows are arch-headed and have small-paned glazing with intersecting tracery in the heads. The doors are double and consist of two panels each. The end walls are adorned with a 16-pane sash window.
Inside, there are no galleries, but the chapel contains panelled box pews, finished in a pale wood color, arranged around a five-sided passage. The pews behind are raked, while a small block of pews faces the pulpit, with two rows on either side. The great seat consists of simple benches at the fronts of three blocks of pews surrounding the pulpit. The pulpit is a later addition, featuring steps on one side, curved angles, and a two-panel front. Small boarded lobbies are located in the corners, and the walls are plastered with a flat ceiling above.
