Drefnewydd Farmhouse

Drefnewydd Farmhouse is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring a whitewashed rubble front and a steeply pitched corrugated roof, which may have originally been thatched. The farmhouse has boxed eaves and two whitewashed rubble end stacks with weathercourses. At the center, there is a pitched slate roof porch with a semicircular brick arch that has voussoirs, part of a remodelling done in 1921. The upper floor has two small fixed glazed windows, while the ground floor has three sash windows with glazing bars in the upper sash, all set in deep reveals.

To the right, there is a single-storey whitewashed rubble extension with a slate roof and a rubble stack, featuring a boarded door. The left gable end is also whitewashed rubble, with plain bargeboards, a sash window, and ghosting lines indicating a former lower roof level. At the rear, there is a bonded-in single-storey extension that runs the full width of the house, covered by a slate roof. This extension includes one recessed sash window with a voussoir lintel on the left end, a boarded door in the center, modern dormers on the main roof above, and a casement window on the right end. The right gable end is whitewashed rubble and has a small deeply recessed window.

In front of the farmhouse to the right, there is a well-preserved ironwork standpipe.
