Description
Ty-Freeman Farmhouse is a two-storey farmhouse built from whitewashed rendered rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring a red brick axial ridge stack. The front has a two-window range, with two long cross windows above; the left window may date from the 18th century and includes an iron opening light. There is a 20th-century porch and a 20th-century triple casement window below. The porch, added around 1959, has a reused studded plank door. The right end wall is rendered and has a 20th-century loft window, along with a single-storey addition that has a slate roof. The left end wall is also whitewashed and features a loft light, a 20th-century first-floor window, and a lean-to porch. The rear of the farmhouse is whitewashed rendered with a central projection and a roof that extends over it. There are casement pair windows and a single-storey lean-to against the centre and right sides of the rear. The interior is not accessible but is reported to have a two-room plan with a lobby that backs onto the chimney.
