Description

This building, known as 1 Narrow Street (Down to Earth), is a three-storey structure with a single window front. It is constructed from local red brick and features a slate roof. The top floor includes a large-pane sash window. The first floor has a semi-hexagonal bay with sash glazing. On the ground floor, there is a mid-to-late 19th century shopfront. To the right, steps lead up to a part-glazed door with a rectangular overlight, while to the left, there is a multi-pane shop window, flanked by classically-derived pilasters and topped with a bracketed fascia.
