Description
Trederwyn Hall, also known as Trederwyn Farm, is a two-storey building originally timber framed but replaced by brick in the 19th century, topped with a machine-tiled roof. The structure features three bays, with a fourth bay added at the west end. The entrance is located in the central bay, which likely originally served as a lobby with a stack, while the eastern bay contained the original service room. There is a rear entrance within a 20th-century glazed lean-to structure. The windows are 20th-century timber frames with two and three lights.
Inside, the main hall bay showcases deeply chamfered cross beams with check and scoop stops, along with secondary chamfered joists arranged in alternating directions. A major stack includes a fire lintel marked by rushlights. The service room and the parlour behind the stack feature chamfered spine beams, with posts supporting these beams in both rooms. One post under the spine beam of the original gable has a simple decorated jowl, although this post is now reversed. The roof structure has not been observed.
