Description
Temeside is a 2-storey house with a roughcast Georgian front, dating from the 18th century, built over an earlier timber-framed structure. To the right, there is a 19th-century gabled extension with a rendered front. The house features a slate roof with two brick chimneys, originally an end stack house, and has coved plastered eaves and plain bargeboards. The front has three windows on the left and one on the right, all 12-pane sashes with plain deep reveals. The windows in the extension have vermiculated keystones. The entrance has a pedimented doorpiece supported by curved brackets, leading to a recessed four-panel door topped by a two-pane fanlight. The left gable end has plain bargeboards, while the right elevation is rendered.
Inside, the house retains exposed timber-framing from the 17th and 18th centuries, along with panelled doors and fluted cornices in the ground floor room that are contemporary with the front of the house.
