Shop on S Corner

This building, originally from the 17th century, has been altered in the 19th century and later. It features a rendered exterior and a slate roof. The west-facing front has four windows and a large gable. To the left, there is a shopfront with three shallow windows above. To the right, an entrance doorway with a pedimented doorcase is accompanied by a sash window above and a three-light window to the right of the doorway. The return to South Street has a splayed corner and two first-floor sash windows. On the ground floor, there is an entrance doorway to the left and two shop windows, with the left window featuring a bracketed architrave, while a similar architrave has been lost on the right window.
