Description

This corner shop is a Grade II listed building featuring a timber frame with weatherboarding, along with some painted and applied half-timbering over the boarding. It has an old slate roof made of pegged slates arranged in diminishing courses. The building is one storey plus an attic.

The gable end facing East Street has a square upper window, which is a Yorkshire sash, and on the ground floor, there is a later 19th-century shopfront that includes end pilasters, a bracketed cornice, and central double-leaf glazed doors with a window on each side. The elevation facing South Street features a gabled dormer towards the south. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century shop windows with end pilasters and a cornice.
