Description

This building comprises a house and shop, dating to the 18th century and altered and extended in the late 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of two distinct builds, unified by later decorative features. It has a plinth, plat band, and pilaster strip, with a hipped roof and chimney stacks positioned centrally and to the rear left. There are three sash windows with margin lights to the left. These windows have lugged and bracketed raised surrounds. To the right, there are two sash windows. These are located at a lower level and have raised heads. Above these, there are two identical margin light sashes. Originally, there was a doorway to the right, but only the lintel remains. A shop front from the late 19th century is located on the left, featuring arched headed mullioned and transomed windows and a glazed door.
