Description
Nos. 11, 13, and 15 on The Green is a row of houses dating from the 18th century, featuring fronts that conceal an earlier core. The buildings are timber framed, extended, and clad with red brick, with weather boarding on the right return and a plain tiled roof. They are two storeys high with a basement, and the roof steps down to the right, showcasing a rebuilt hipped or half hipped design. Originally, Nos. 11 and 13 formed a simple pair of cottages with a central stack, two glazing bar sash windows on each floor, and two central six-panelled doors. The structure has been extended to the right, adding one glazing bar sash window on each floor and a basement opening, with an entry in the lower two-storey block that includes a rear stack. There is one glazing bar sash window on each floor, with 16 panes on the ground floor, and a panelled door, along with a blocked opening above.
