Description
The cottage, which was once an earlier farmhouse, is attached to Maesyronnen United Reformed Chapel. It has three bays, with the western bay rebuilt as a stable. The cottage is slightly narrower than the chapel and features two boarded doors, one of which has a pent roof, along with timber casement windows, including one that illuminates the stair leading to the attic floor next to the stack. The roof of the cottage is separate from the stone stack on the dividing wall. At the rear, there is a blocked window and a bathroom extension added in the 1980s. Two gabled dormers at the back provide light to the attic rooms.
The cottage underwent refurbishment around 1985 and includes a gable fireplace with a timber fire beam, an open ceiling supported by two longitudinal beams, and a kitchen that is separated from the end storeroom by a timber post and panel partition. There is a dog leg stair located beside the fireplace.
