Description

Clematis Cottage is a two-storey building made of colourwashed brick with a slate roof, dating from the 19th century. It has three bays and a canted bay at the west end. The south elevation features two brick pilasters that extend to the eaves.

The door is located in the first bay on the south side and is boarded, set beneath a simple supported canopy. The windows are three-light timber in a Gothic style, with metal casements; the ground floor windows include a brick label course above them. At the rear, there is a 20th-century two-storey extension with a hipped roof.
