Description
Calcott House is a 19th-century building constructed of whitewashed rubble with a slate roof. It is one storey high with an attic and features two bays, the eastern bay being wider to accommodate the entrance. The house is attached to Trawscoed House.
The entrance consists of a timber door located under a gabled and bracketed 19th-century canopy. There are small two-light timber casement windows, one in each bay, and two small gabled dormers situated above the wall plate. A stack between the two bays has been rebuilt above the roof. The rear elevation has larger windows and open eaves, along with a long low outbuilding aligned to the east. The interior was not accessible during the inspection in November 1994.
