Description
The building is a former warehouse that is two storeys high and is located next to the Trunk Road Bridge. It is constructed of rubble stone with brick dressings and features a diamond pattern perforated brickwork ventilator on the south gable. The road runs along the front elevation at the first-floor level, and there is a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the center.
On the roadside elevation, there are blocked central double doors and blocked window openings on either side. The north gable end has a plank door with a cambered head and steps leading down to the canal side. The rear elevation includes a plank door and a plank shuttered window on the ground floor, both under cambered heads. To the right of the center on the ground floor, there is a large inserted opening, and above this, the wall is partially faced with tin sheeting around a small window.
At the time of inspection in September 1990, the building was disused.
