Description

This is a late 18th-century building, originally two houses and shops, constructed of rubble stone with brick facing on the front elevation and east gable. The west gable is partially slate-hung. The building features two brick end stacks and a central ridge stack. There are two windows with small panes, set within painted stone flat arches. The doorways have plain pilaster surrounds and shallow leaded canopies. A six-panelled front door is located on the left hand side of the building, alongside a more modern glazed entrance door to the left gable. Low decorative balustraded iron railings sit on a stone base. The right-hand house features a modern timber and glazed shop front, with a small glazed door to the right side.
