Description
Glanclywedog House is a 2-storey building with a symmetrical 3-window whitewashed brick front facing east. It features an asbestos tile roof with boarded eaves and a brick chimney stack on the right. The house has 3-light flat roof dormer windows, 12-pane sash windows on the first floor, and splayed Victorian bay windows on the ground floor, which have dentil cornices and 4-pane sash glazing. There is a gabled porch with a trellised front, narrow pilasters, and panelled reveals flanking a 6-panel half-glazed door with a 5-pane fanlight.
At the rear, the first floor is covered with asbestos tiling, while the lower part is whitewashed brick. A modern lean-to bathroom projection is located at the centre of the first floor, supported by cast iron columns. The house has 9 and 12-pane sash windows and a half-glazed door. A low range of outbuildings adjoins the left end of the property. The right gable end features camber-headed small pane casement windows in the attic, and a gabled single-storey outbuilding has been removed.
