Description
Upper White House is a three-storey building featuring a symmetrical three-window facade made of stucco with pebbledash margins and a brick plinth. It has a slate roof with boarded eaves and two stock brick chimney stacks, one of which is set transversely on the right side. The building has six and twelve-pane sash windows with margins, and the entrance is highlighted by a bracket cornice above a half-glazed door with a plain overlight. There is a basement opening on the right side.
The left gable end is slate hung with a rubble base, and there is a small lean-to at the rear. The right end, which is painted pebbledash, has two sash windows and two blocked openings, along with a lean-to that features a four-panel door. At the back, there is a converted outbuilding that contains Ffynnon Idloes, a kiln well that is traditionally believed to have curative powers.
The interior of the building was altered around 1980 during its conversion into flats.
