Description

Brynhafren is a three-storey red brick building with a slate roof, featuring bracket eaves and a blue brick chimney stack. The front of the building has one window for No 1 and two windows for No 2; the second floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor and ground floor windows have lintels and keystones, with No 1 having 16-pane windows and No 2 having modern windows. The mid-20th century doors have bracket cornices, and steps lead up to the right of the center to a round arched entry into a tunnel passage, which has a four-panel door.

The left gable end is rendered and was rebuilt after the demolition of the rest of the terrace sometime between 1963 and 1981. The right gable end is made of shale. The brick-walled tunnel passage contains a door to the left midway along and another door to the right at the end. The rear elevation is made of shale, partly rendered, and features small pane metal frame windows on the second floor, which appears to have been a weaving loft. This loft has a boarded door that is accessed from the high rear garden by an elevated walkway.
