Description
The boundary walls and gates to St. Idloes Parish Churchyard were part of an enlargement to the southwest in 1846. The rubble walls were repaired in 1971. At the southern main entrance, there are rusticated gate piers and iron gates with an overthrow. Additional gateways are located at the eastern and western ends. At the western end, there is one tall square rubble gate pier that is paired with a modern replica. The rubble wall slopes down the bank at the eastern end. The churchyard features a large collection of 19th-century tombstones, an octagonal sundial made in 1836 by W & S London, which cost £3, and a stone bird bath.
