Description
Trewen is a three-storey building with three windows, featuring a rendered front over brick, moulded quoins, and square red brick chimneys. The second floor has three almost square windows; the outer windows are six-pane horned sashes, while the central window, which was a 'tax painted' dummy in old photos, now has a pair of narrow horned sashes. The first floor contains three sixteen-pane horned sashes. On the ground floor, there is a centrally placed pair of doorcases, typical of the early 19th century, with a sixteen-pane sash window on each side, although the left window is hornless. The left gable is made of rubble and has a casement window on each floor, offset to the rear. The building named 'Tegfan' has a two-storey rubble extension.
