Description
The Old Shop is a 2-storey building constructed from local grey stone, topped with a slate roof that features a stone chimney on the left and a gabled dormer on the right. The windows have modern small-pane glazing. The main section of the building runs parallel to the road. On the left side, there is an advanced 2-storey gabled block with a window on each floor. To the right of this block, the main section contains a doorway with a boarded door and a modern bow window. Further to the right, there is a lean-to section with a doorway facing the road. On the left side, there is a lean-to stone garage with boarded doors. At the rear, there is a lower block that is positioned at right angles to the main building. Although it has not been visited, it is reported to retain its dais-end truss.
