Description

Pwllpridd is a 3-unit lobby-entry house that stands one-and-a-half storeys tall. It features three tiers of box-panelling set on a low rubble stone plinth, with the panels likely infilled with wattle and daub and lime-rendered. The house has a slate roof and a red brick ridge stack located to the left of the center. Below the stack is a boarded door. The exterior includes small 2-light wooden casement windows with quarries, which were probably added in the late 20th century and are in keeping with the box-panelling. There is one window to the left of the entrance and two windows to the right. The upper storey has two windows aligned above the left and far right windows. Two gabled dormers are positioned above the door and the right-of-center window. The east and west gable ends are slate-hung, with the west end featuring a wooden casement window with a segmental head, consisting of a 4-light window below and a 3-light window above. The rear of the house is constructed of brick in the lower part, with a single tier of box-panelling above. In front of the stack is a stone projection with brick jambs and a lean-to roof, which may serve as a stair projection. To the right of this projection is a casement window with quarries. To the left is a small-pane iron-glazed window, and further left is a very small window. At the far left, there is a doorway with late 20th-century split doors. The roof has two skylights. Attached to the east gable end is a weather-boarded garage with a lower roof-line, also covered by a slate roof. The garage features split doors at the center and a metal garage door at the gable end. The interior has not been seen.
